A spooky and fun theatre experience

The students of the third and fourth classes of the middle school Gleinstätten visited an English theatre performance at the cultural center in Leibnitz on March 17, 2026. The play was performed by Vienna’s English Theatre and was called “Spooked”. It is based on the well-known story “The Canterville Ghost”.

Before the visit, the students had already worked on the play in class. This helped them understand the story better and made the experience more enjoyable. Everyone was excited and curious to see how the story would be performed on stage.

The performance was very entertaining. It included a lot of humor, surprising scenes, and lively acting. The actors used modern teenage language, which made the play feel fresh and easy to follow. At the same time, it kept the charm of the original story. This mix of old and new created a special and exciting atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great experience for the students. They improved their English skills and at the same time enjoyed a fun and memorable theatre performance.
